How did Golder prepare you?
"Without Golder's strict regiment, I would be failing miserably in college right now. Embrace the 3 hours of work per night because soon you shall plunge into a world in which you work for up to 6 hours a day on homework. Golder prepared me not only for the work load but it also prepared me with the discipline required to stay focused on class work and my studies."

How did Golder prepare you?

"Golder has helped me enormously in preparing for college. I am the first one in my family to go to college and everything was new for us. Golder was there as support that guided me through the college process, allowing me to successfully get into a top notch college. Ms. Clark and Ms. Martinez were amazing teachers who took the time to help each one of us with problems and with any question we had. We also had their college readiness course as seniors, which prepared for the obstacles I would face in college.

Daring to study outside of your comfort zone is what makes the college experience that much richer. Golder also helped me recognize that struggling is inevitable (especially in college), but it’s important to acknowledge the struggle and work your way out of it by taking advantage of the resources at your disposal.
